Description of Services: Foster agency for native childern. Preserve, protect and strengthen the children and families of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe. Provide culturally appropriate and sensitive services to children that meet family needs. Provide services through an efficient and effective service system that will enable families to work within their own Tiospaye to ensure the safety and well-being of their children. Place children who are removed from their parents with relatives when appropriate or with a tribally licensed home. Protect the bond between the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and its children and culture by promoting the security and stability of children and families.

Description of Services: Strengthening and supporting children and adults with behavioral health needs through prevention services, community-based outpatient services, inpatient substance use disorder services, psychiatric hospitalization and services for offenders incarcerated in state correctional facilities. Child Care Services provides assistance to low income families who need help with child care costs while parents work or attend school. The Division of Child Support helps parents establish a financial partnership to support their children when they do not live together. The Division of Economic Assistance promotes the wellbeing and provides supports to achieve self-sufficiency of families, children, individuals, elderly and persons with disabilities by providing medical, nutritional and financial services and through assessment and referral to other state, federal and local resources. South Dakota Medicaid is a federal and state-funded program providing health coverage for people who meet certain eligibility standards. Medicaid acts as an insurance company for individuals and pays for medically necessary services.

Description of Services:The RST Commodity Program distributes food provided by USDA from the warehouse located in Antelope Community and to surrounding communities through a tailgate delivery system. Our service area includes South Dakota counties of Todd, Mellette, Tripp and Gregory; our near service area includes Jones County, SD, and Cherry County, NE. Households in Jones and Cherry counties must contain at least one (1) member who is enrolled in any federally recognized Tribe. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
